SIMBA has grown dramatically since our last Live Local Council field trip took place in the fall. This spring we are pleased to announce a special farm-to-table tour starting in Spokane, heading out to Cheney and returning to Spokane later in the evening on Saturday, April 27th. Our trip itinerary features:

Meeting up at the Ben Joyce Art Studio, 2:30-3:30pm – 806 W 3rd Ave, Spokane, WA 99201

  • Meet Ben Joyce, tour his beautiful working gallery studio and learn about his unique approaches to reaching a national art investment audience through his practice of abstract topophilia. 

Carpool to Lazy “R” Ranch Tour, 4-6pm – 20811 W Salnave Rd, Cheney, WA 99004

  • Walk around the spring time pastures with famous fourth generation cattle rancher Beth Robinette.

Dinner at The Mason Jar, 6:30-7:15pm – 101 F St, Cheney, WA 99004

  • Enjoy a meal featuring grass fed organic beef raised on Lazy “R” pastures at Doug LeBar’s downtown cafe. 

Night cap at Petunia’s Marketplace, 7:45-8:45pm – 2010 N Madison St, Spokane, WA 99205

  • Enjoy a wine tasting and house made truffles with owners Russell and Tammy Fleming. Buy a bottle to take home if you are so moved.
