Hillyard is a proud community located in the far Northeastern corner of Spokane’s city limits. With its own history and sub-culture and considerable endemic population, Hillyard has both the infrastructure and the fighting spirit to return to its glory days as a booming business district unto itself.
After years of planning and hard work, the Roxie community venue has opened with a collection of event spaces, restaurants, bars and stages to hasten a new kind of Hillyard heyday.
Join SIMBA for a private backstage tour of this historic space, and to learn from the owners about its bright future. This is a free event offered to the community at large. SIMBA individual membership donations are encouraged but not required to participate.
