Date: Wednesday, March 13th Time: 9:30-10:30 am

Location: First Avenue Coffee – 1011 1st Ave. Spokane, WA 99201

Join us for a press conference to announce the inaugural issue of Independent Northwest, a reflection on SIMBA’s founding year to share the stories of our Sustaining and Strengthening Members.

Speakers include Board Chair Joel Williamson of the Grain Shed, Janine Vaughn of Revival Lighting, Vince Peak of Share.Farm and Steve DeWalt of the Knickerbocker.

Individually, these local, independently owned businesses play a key role in Spokane’s identity, but collectively, they bring solidarity and cohesiveness to the health, strength, and diversity of our region. Independent Northwest tells the stories of SIMBA’s values-driven companies and rediscovers ideas that are alive and well in our community, but that need to be shared more broadly to build a successful future.

Enjoy a no-host award winning coffee from First Avenue while you take in the inspiring perspectives of our community’s green and socially responsible business leaders.
